Pukka Herbs produce a wide range of organic Ayurvedic herbal products using sustainable organically certified herbs from India and Sri Lanka that have been grown with respect for the local eco-system. They have recently rebranded their range of Ayurvedic massage oils and were looking for an environmentally friendly way to ensure their bottles were securely sealed, both to prevent any leakage and to reassure their customers that the products were free from any contamination.

The answer was provided by Viscose Closures of Crawley who have supplied their unique Viskring seals to Pukka Herbs. Viskrings are made from regenerated cellulose derived from the wood-pulp of fast growing softwood trees and bio-degrade even faster than paper when discarded. Suitable for use on almost any shape of item, Viskrings provide effective, sterile tamper-evident protection. Fitted by hand, without the use of heat, Viskring seals shrink and mould themselves to the surface contours of the item to provide a complete air tight seal.
