Whitehall Laboratories have given lip balm Chapstick a makeover with new packaging and new flavour names in a move designed to increase impulse sales in grocery and convenience stores. The flavours which have been renamed Classic Original, Summer Strawberry, Tangy Orange, Smooth Spearmint and Wild Cherry come with new shrink sleeves and new pack dispensers.

All the new Chapsticks have been labelled using shrink sleeves supplied by viscose.closures using standard 50 micron PVC. The sleeves are gravure printed in three colours and the new design features an angled logo and shortened barcode to give greater on-shelf impact.
