A schnapps for every day of the week

Intercontinental Brands (ICB) have launched a range of seven fruit flavoured schnapps mixes aimed at the young female market. These comprise apple, raspberry, peach, orange, strawberry, lime and ice blue varieties.

The 275ml bottles have all been decorated with sleeves produced by viscose.closures using 50 micron high shrink PVC . The shrink sleeves are gravure printed in 7 colours and have been printed with a matt over-lacquer. Semi-opaque stars decorate the sleeve and ensure that the consumer can see the contents of the bottle. Text and other features of the design are in a high-gloss finish

The shapely bottle was supplied by William Croxson and Son of Surrey and close co-operation between ICB, Croxsons and viscose.closures resulted in an impressively short lead time. A gold crown which is common to all bottles was also supplied by viscose.closures.

The mixes are being supplied to both the on and off trade and early indications of sales are very promising. "We have high expectations for these new products", says Lindsey Booth, Brand Manager at ICB. "And we believe that the attractively sleeved bottles will help us realise them".
