When Stella Artois launched their new 1 litre bottle, targetted at the food occasion, they wanted a capsule which reinforced the high quality and premium positioning of their product.

viscose.closures recommended a heavy-weight polylaminate capsule which echoed the quality of champagne bottle capsules. The capsule is printed in the three colours of the Stella livery, with a tear tab for easy removal.

The capsules are fitted using a Robino & Galandrino Monostadio ZT12 capsuling machine also supplied by viscose.closures. This machine has a floor-loading magazine and is capable of speeds of up to 12,000 bottles per hour. The machine was delivered and installed to exceptionally short timescales to meet the launch date.
