When Lever Brothers relaunched their Jif brand as Cif they wanted to make sure that their customers could profit from this change.
A special promotion for Cif Bathroom Mousse was run under the slogan - the only difference is the difference you can ‘C’ - offering free eye tests to all people responding to a mail-in offer.
The offer was carried on over two million promotional shrink sleeves provided by viscose.closures. The sleeve was gravure printed in six colours to complement the product pack using 40 micron film.
Lisa Nixon, brand manager for CIF at Lever Brothers, was very pleased with the results. "viscose.closures met a challenging deadline which enabled our customers to see the new Cif right on schedule."
