Highgrove Foods chose 7-colour gravure printed shrink sleeves from Viscose Closures for the redesign of their "Gold Top Breakfast Milk" pack which forms part of their premium range of dairy products.
Known as the "champagne of milks" from fully traceable pure bred Jersey and Guernsey herds, the pack features an eye catching Jersey cow as its centrepiece and incorporates all nutritional and storage information as well as a small transparent panel to make it easy for the consumer to check the level of the milk.
The supply by Viscose Closures of digital proofs incorporating a bar code enabled the customer to reduce the time taken to get supermarket approval by about three months.
"Highgrove took over this brand in March 2000 and a great deal of thought has gone into the marketing. The packaging creates just the right image and high shelf impact for this product", said John Goodwin, Marketing Manager.
Viscose Closures are at Stand 4370 in Hall 4 of the NEC at the Pakex exhibition. In addition to the range of tamper-evident and pilfer-proof closures, the company will be exhibiting samples of the latest applications for promotion sleeves and printed shrink labels.
