What is Celloflecks™

Celloflecks™ is a new environmentally friendly carrier of colour as a particulate additive to the decorative industry.

A VOC-free material that is heat-stable to more than 190°C/374°F, it comes in a range of sizes from fine powder to coarse flakes.

Celloflecks™ can be added as a decorative effect to almost any manufacturing process, remaining as discrete particles and providing a wide range of UV-stable, bleed-free colours.

Celloflecks™ is an organic, eco-friendly product made from renewable resources designed specifically to overcome the problem of VOCs in manufacturing.

It is the newest development from Viscose Closures Ltd, a company with more than a hundred years of innovation with regenerated cellulose products.

Applications

The range of potential applications for Celloflecks™ is considerable and includes the following industries: Saturated paper, Vinyl flooring, Rubber flooring, MDF and Particle board.

Colour range

There are three ranges of colours available.

• Standard range: CMYK plus white
• Contemporay colour palette: A palette of eleven colours. Ask for samples
• Speciality colours: Silver, Bronze, Gold, Heather Plume (colour flip)

Commercial specials can also be produced.

• All the colours are made from toy-grade pigments and do not contain heavy metals, solvents or glycols.
• All colours are heat stable to at least 190°C/374°F
• All colours are UV stable
• All colours are bleed-fast

Size range

There are two standard sizes:

• >106 - <250 microns
• >250 - <500 microns

Other sizes can also be produced.

Optimum order quantities

• CMYK + white: May be ordered economically in minimum quantities of 20kg/44lbs.
• Contemporay colour palette and Speciality colours: May be ordered economically in minimum quantities of 50kg/110lbs.
• There is a development charge for commercial specials and the minimum economic order quantity is 250kg/550lbs.

Packing

Celloflecks™ is packed in plastic pails containing 10kg/22lbs.
